The Ministry of Tourism has recently extended its contract with DreamKatcher Media (formerly TaylorMade Productions) for another three seasons of it’s popular TV show “Tourism Today”. The show’s first season covered several issues in the tourism sector and profiled many Bahamians who are making it in tourism. The production traveled to numerous islands throughout the Bahamas as well as South Florida and New York City.
Currently in production, next season’s shows will be featuring Ministry of Tourism initiatives and happenings in places like Lake Como, Italy.
“We are delighted to extend our contract with DreamKatcher Media,” commented Colin Higgs, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism. “We have been getting an outstanding response from viewers who comment on the quality and informative nature of the show. We will to continue to bring our viewers the best show we can.”
“DreamKatcher is thrilled to continue this partnership with the Ministry of Tourism,” said Kevin Taylor, founder of DreamKatcher Media. “It’s been very rewarding to bring this show to Bahamians every week and have such positive feedback from viewers. The producers of the show, namely executive producer, Basil Smith and producer Michelle Malcolm are really what makes this show the success that it has been. I want to thank them and correspondents Racquel Horton and Kendal Major for their hard work this season. We look forward to launching season number two in August”.
